The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association got political Tuesday, endorsing two issues on the Nov. 4 ballot. The city’s proposed $815 million light-rail plan, which would be financed in part with a 3/8 -cent sales tax, and a repeal of the $500 loss limit rule at Missouri casinos both won unanimous support from the city’s tourism agency.
